Bookaholics is based in Adelaide, South Australia and is a division of Winsome Enterprises Pty Ltd, of which Dorothy Shorne is the Principal Director.

With a life long interest and involvement in books, she found that an online bookshop was an ideal solution for many people with specialised areas of interest. It is not always easy to find a good range of reference texts in the one location. As a civil celebrant, Dorothy is constantly seeking research material for the many ceremonies and rituals that she performs - hence the focus on that area.  Progressively Bookaholics will stock not only current titles, but will be endeavouring to obtain online versions of texts that are otherwise out of print.

Dorothy also has a child conceived through Assisted Reproductive Technologies, and so is very familiar with the quest for information as she confronted the issues of childlessness, fertility, and the options confronting her in becoming a parent.

These are only two of the categories that are covered.  The range of books that are presented now and will be in the future are eclectic, and will be guided by both personal interest, and that of customers of this online facility.  It is also our intention to carry a range of Self Published Books.
